We may not have all our ducks in a row, but at least we have baby chicks to play with at one of the care facilities we visit. Here are Sunny and Oreo. :)

Today I was reminded just how valuable Emergency First Aid and CPR training can be.
While I was at a sports lesson, another participant had a significant injury. I had the opportunity to assist the first aid responder and the person who was injured. I was very grateful that I had taken first aid training in the past. Even though I wasn’t the primary responder, having some knowledge and training meant I could step in, help where needed, and feel more comfortable in an unexpected situation.

It’s easy to think of first aid training as something you need to have “just in case” — but when that moment actually comes, having even basic knowledge can make a real difference.
You never know when you might be the person nearby who can help.

If your Emergency First Aid/CPR certification has expired, consider taking the course again. If you haven't taken the course yet, I cannot recommend it enough. It’s a small investment of time that could be incredibly valuable when you least expect it. ❤️

ps...the injured person is going to be fine. :)
