🛒From doorknobs to grocery store carts, our hands touch dozens of high-contact public spaces in our day-to-day routines.
🧼That’s why good hand hygiene is so important. Wash your hands with hot water and soap as often as possible, and use hand sanitizer when soap is not available. Consider carrying your own personal hand sanitizer in your pocket, car, or purse to be ready at all times. It’s also good practice to regularly wipe down shared workstations, telephones, and doorknobs.
🧽Clean hands help protect you, your family, and your community from viruses and bacteria. Germs spread through contact with unwashed hands can cause illnesses such as influenza, norovirus, and hand-foot-mouth disease, as well as many others.🦠
