☀️Your SKIN never forgets a sunburn. The sun’s rays are very dangerous and can cause long-term damage and even cancer, so it’s extremely important to protect yourself.

👒Wear sunscreen with at least SPF30 and a wide-brimmed hat to shade your face. Stay in the shade when possible, and always reapply sunscreen every 2 hours or immediately after swimming or sweating. It can help to set a reminder alarm on your phone or watch!

🫠The hot weather is most definitely here, so it's time for our annual reminders about sun and heat safety!

☀️When spending prolonged periods outside, seek shady areas whenever possible. Consider bringing an umbrella or canopy for beach days to create some shade, especially if you have children or pets.🏖️

😎Drink plenty of water and wear sunglasses, a brimmed hat, and SPF30+ sunscreen. Sunscreen should be reapplied every 2 hours, or after swimming or excessive sweating.

🥵Familiarise yourself with the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Keep an eye on others around you, and know when to call 911.
