It doesn't matter which way you choose...Just KEEP GOING. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

It is hot. We are tired. Just keep going.

10,000 steps per day is a lie. Do what you can. Any steps are better than no steps. KEEP GOING.πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Run. Jog. Walk. Walk more. Take the stairs. Just keep going. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Be patient with yourself. The results will come. You only have to begin. And then KEEP GOING. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

The hardest part is getting out the door. But once you make that decision, it gets easier.

You just keep going.

Max says, "Mum, this meditation is a snooze-fest!"

Behind the scenes look at the recording of RADIYOGA for Northumberland 89.7FM

Max was right. The water won't make it to air. πŸ’§ Always room for improvement, self or otherwise!

Allow me to tell you a story about a sweater, while I try to get into frog pose. 🐸

I thrifted this from Talize. Originally from Bluenotes, it checks all the boxes for a sweater 15 year-old me would not have been allowed to have.

A sweater with holes? Ridiculous. If it's cold enough for a sweater....also, do you want to look 'sleazy'??

And hand-washing? And a hood? No way.

Thankfully I have adult money now, and the freedom from, and because of, my upbringing to make the choices I want. About sweaters. And lots of other stuff.

Make good choices. Break the cycle. Celebrate the small wins. Buy the sweater. πŸ‘•

Benefits of Brahmari, "bee breath":

🐝 relaxation
🐝 vagus nerve stimulation
🐝 vocal health

To do it, sit comfortably and take a long inhale through your nose. Exhale, humming, making the sound of a honey bee. Repeat. Enjoy.

More thoughts on breath this week on RADIYOGA: Sunday at 1:30pm on Northumberland 89.7FM.

While walking Max along the Belleville waterfront this morning, a woman stopped me to say she loved my outfit. Chic, she said, the dress & sneakers. I got to tell her the story of why I thrifted the dress, and we shared our love of the thrift find. πŸ›’

But this isn't about my . It's about how great I have felt ever since her kind words, and a moment of connection with a stranger. 😊

So, this week, I am going to make a point of telling people what I like when I see it. Maybe I can bring a little cheer to someone else's day.

Choose kindness. Spread joy. πŸ™

Yeah, that's not a filter. That's the colour of the sky this morning.

The AQI was high, but I didn't want to miss my run. The mask was the compromise.

Whatever your activity today, take care of your body. Every breath is important.
Do what you are able to hold safe those directly in the paths of the fire. πŸ™
Speak out if you are so called. Your voice matters.
