Our last Legacy of Care 50/50 Draw raised an incredible $57,920! The lucky winner took home $28,960, and an equal $28,960 went directly toward helping build Strathroy Hospice.

With a starting minimum take-home prize of $8,000, we hope to make our NEW draw even bigger, and with your support, we can.

WOW!!!

We are absolutely amazed by our local businesses who have joined our Knights Tickets of Care Team and donated four tickets from their Knights of Hospice sponsorship package to well-deserving recipients.

We are truly in awe of the generosity and community spirit behind this program!

We talk a lot about community as part of Strathroy Hospice.

Community is what is helping us get closer and closer to our goal. Community is what is supporting us every step of the way. Community is why we are doing this.

As part of our community, we have had the pleasure of getting to know and learn from others who have built hospices. Recently, our board had the pleasure of meeting with the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin Board and spending time visiting the beautiful hospice they created.

We are so thankful for their time, knowledge and generosity as they shared their experience with us, gave us a tour, and taught us about their design, what works, and the campaign efforts and planning that went into creating their incredible space.

We are truly proud to be part of the hospice community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from those who have walked this path before us.

Friday night, a few volunteer members of the The Strathroy Lions Club enjoyed a night at the rink watching the London Knights, courtesy of TAP Storage.

TAP Storage became a Knight of Hospice and very generously donated their tickets back to the community by joining our Knights Tickets of Care Team! Because of this, they took their sponsorship and helped Strathroy Hospice reach our goal, while also giving back to the Lions Club — a group of people who volunteer their time and efforts not only to help Strathroy Hospice, but also so many groups, organizations, and people.

We still have a limited number of Knight of Hospice sponsorships available.

Last night’s London Knights Home Opener had more than 9,000 fans on the edge of their seats as Windsor tied the game with just 13.6 seconds left in the third period, sending the game to overtime. The Knights took this chance to set the tone for their season by delivering a beauty game-winning tip-in with just 13.5 seconds left!

And among the fans who got to experience that incredible moment was the very first recipient of our Knights Tickets of Care Team!

Dose Of Elegance, our first Knights of Hospice Sponsor, made their sponsorship even more meaningful by donating their four tickets to a Strathroy Hospice volunteer through our Knights Ticket of Care Team. The volunteer got to enjoy a night out with her kids as a thank you for all her behind-the-scenes work to help make the dream of Strathroy Hospice a reality.

UPDATE:

The Hometown Heroes for Hospice Charity Baseball Game scheduled for this Saturday, September 19th, has been CANCELLED due to the weather.

It was a difficult decision, but the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service and Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department have decided that postponing the game until Spring 2027 is the best option.

This Saturday, September 19, Stathroy’s Alexandra Park is the place to be for the Hometown Heroes for Hospice Charity Baseball Game!

Are you Team Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service or Team Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department? You can show your support by purchasing your team’s flag at the game!

1 flag for $3 & 2 flags for $5 - Supplies are limited!

All proceeds from the flag sales, along with the donation pail being passed around during the game, will go directly to Strathroy Hospice.

First pitch is at 3:00 PM and admission is FREE, so join us as we cheer on our Hometown Heroes!

Strathroy Firefighters Association
CAR WASH FOR A CAUSE!

On September 12, join your local firefighters from 9 am to Noon for their Community Charity Car Wash at 220 E Centre St, Strathroy.

ONLY $8 Per Wash!

100% of funds raised will be donated to Strathroy Hospice to help us get closer to providing compassionate care and support to families in our community.

Come out and support a great local cause, meet your local firefighters, and leave with a sparkling clean vehicle!
