What an amazing night last night!! The Cove Guest Home Foundation honoured Dr. Anne Frances D'Itino at Sacred Heart Downtown in front of a packed crown for the 14th Annual Cove Dinner Gala. The night started off with a bang with entertainment by Wesley Colford and Group from The Highland Arts Theatre. Followed by an outstanding meal by Mise en Place Catering. A big thanks to Auctioneer Derek Kennedy who auctioned off some amazing donated prizes by local businesses:

THE COVE CAR LOTTERY IS BACK AGAIN!!!

The Board of Directors of the Cove Guest Home Foundation are excited to announce a 6th Cove Car Lottery which has been officially launched as of today. Ticket holders will have a chance to win a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid AWD from Cape Breton Hyundai, value of $50,000.00. There is also an exciting second prize of a Play and Stay Weekend Package at The Lakes Golf Resort.
There are also 1 Early Bird draw to be awarded June 25, 2026.
Tickets are again $50 each or 3 for $125.

The Cove Guest Home Foundation is a registered charity which serves The Cove’s long-term care residents as well as those living in our assisted and retirement living complex. Proceeds from the sale of the tickets will help enrich the lives of our residents through funding programs for the Cove Village.

The busy Holiday Season continues today with a visit from the kids at Greenfield Elementary to sing more Christmas Carols!! They were amazing and all the residents were so happy they came by. Thanks to all who made this happen.

Everyone was so excited to have a visit from the Sydney River Elementary Choir to sing Chistmas Carols to us. They were amazing! Thank you to music teacher, Angela Favaro for helping arrange the day!!
