A Wish Come True for Marion! 🌟

A lifelong Toronto Blue Jays fan, Marion, had one wish on her bucket list: to attend a Blue Jays game in person. Thanks to Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie, that dream has become a reality! 🧢

Today, Marion set off on an unforgettable adventure to Toronto, where she will watch the Toronto Blue Jays take on the New York Yankees at the Rogers Centre. Members of the Chartwell Thunder Bay Leadership Team were at the airport bright and early to see Marion off, along with her daughter, who will be sharing this exciting experience with her.

Marion's journey is a wonderful reminder that dreams can come true at any age and that creating meaningful experiences is at the heart of the Chartwell community.

We wish Marion and her daughter a fantastic trip and an unforgettable game day experience. We can't wait to hear all about their adventures when they return!

Chartwell Thunder Bay hosted a very successful Yard Sale in support of Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie, raising over $2,000! ✨👏

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported this incredible cause. Whether you donated, shopped, or even took the opportunity to dunk our staff, your enthusiasm and generosity helped make the day a tremendous success! 🙌

A special thank you goes to our amazing volunteers—Debby, Barb, and Heather—whose hard work and dedication made this event possible. We truly appreciate everything you do! 💗

We'd also like to give a shoutout to our adorable furry friends, Gus and Charlie, who brightened everyone's day with plenty of puppy kisses. 🐾

A huge WOW moment! Thank you to Chartwell Thunder Bay’s Knittng Club for raising $630 for the Dew Drop Inn to use in their Compassion Kitchen! Way to go! 👏💗

WOW Moment! Thank you from all of us at the Dew Drop Inn to Chartwell Thunder Bay Retirement Residence's Knitting Club who raised $630 for us to use in our compassion kitchen. They held two separate events selling their homemade knitting products and we were the lucky recipients of the proceeds. Isn't that wonderful!?
We want to thank you all for thinking of us and for your support. We are so thankful for all of you and the role each of you play in our Compassion Kitchen.

Chartwell Thunder Bay residents recently travelled to the beautiful shores of Hawaii—without ever leaving home! 🏝️ Residents embraced the spirit of aloha by dressing in their favourite tropical attire and sipping refreshing Piña Coladas while enjoying a virtual journey through the islands. 🍍
