Children naturally seek challenges through play — and that can be a healthy part of development.
When children are given opportunities for age-appropriate risky play, they learn how to assess situations, manage emotions, solve problems, and build confidence in their own abilities.
Of course, safety matters. The goal is not to remove supervision, but to create space for children to explore, grow, and develop resilience through experience.
Play is not separate from development — play is development. 💛
