We are so proud to share that our very own Jan Wozniak has been awarded the Hilary M. Weston Medal. This medal is given to the graduating MSW student with the highest academic standing at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work.

Beyond this incredible achievement, Jan has been shortlisted for the CBC Poetry Prize, is actively involved in building group therapy programming for adults with developmental disabilities at CAMH, and continues to collaborate on research in disability studies and neurodiversity. He brings all of that passion and expertise to his work here at RENNI, where he provides individual and couples therapy with a specialization in disability and neurodiversity.

We are honoured to have him as part of our team. Congratulations, Jan! We couldn’t be more proud.

Grief can feel isolating, overwhelming, and difficult to put into words. This process-oriented group offers a supportive space to explore your experience of loss alongside others who are also navigating grief.

Together, we will focus on sharing and reflecting in the moment, allowing space for feelings to emerge and be expressed as they come. The group emphasizes connection, emotional processing, and the opportunity to both give and receive support.

This group may be helpful for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one, companion animal, relationship, or another meaningful life change.

What to expect:
- A confidential and supportive environment
- Opportunities to share at your own pace
- Space to express and make sense of your feelings
- Facilitated by a psychologist

Note: This is a process group rather than a structured skills-based group. The focus is on your lived experience and connection with others.

Group Details
- Dates: Wednesdays — June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24 (with option to extend)
- Time: 9:00–10:00 AM
- Location: Virtual (link provided prior to the start date)
- Facilitator: Registered Clinical Psychologist
