Revision rhinoplasty surgery can be difficult. It often requires the use of cartilage graft to support the new proposed nasal structure. Frequently, the usually available cartilage was already utilized in the previous rhinoplasty surgery and is no longer available. Cadaveric rib cartilage (MTF) can be used in revision cases where there is no cartilage source available. This beautiful patient of mine is photographed approximately 2 months following open revision rhinoplasty surgery using an MFT rib cartilage graft. Her nose is much straighter and has the much needed mid nasal vault support need to ensure her airway is clear. I am grateful that she has agreed to share her photographs as a means to educate our followers.

Besides the eyelids, the area under the chin reveals the earliest signs of aging. This athletic and extremely kind patient of mine is in her late 50s. She is photographed approximately 4 months following deep plane facelift and deep neck lift surgery with submandibular gland contouring. The procedure has cleaned up the contour of her jawline and neck without altering her identity.

Facial rejuvenation surgery always has two priorities - safety and not changing the identity of our patients. I am extremely grateful for the generosity of my patient to share her photographs. She is in her mid 60s and is photographed after having undergone the following procedures: hyaluronadase to dissolve filler in her lower eyelid and upper cheek regions, upper and lower blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow lift, deep plane facelift and deep neck lift with submandibular gland contouring, micro fat grafting and rhinoplasty. The goal is always cleaner but not different. I much appreciate her trusting me with her care.

It is always important to assess for upper eyelid ptosis when seeing patients for blepharoplasty surgery. This very kind patient of mine underwent two previous ptosis correction surgeries prior to seeing me in the office. Is decided to perform a tarsal levator advancement approach to ptosis correction. We were able to achieve a stable and more systematic correction. I am grateful for her trust.

Our upper eyelids show the first signs of age. The skin on our eyelids is less than one millimeter thick. As the upper eyelid skin loses it elasticity, makeup becomes more difficult to apply and often we begin to notice creases on our forehead as there is a subconscious tendency to elevate the brow when the upper eyelids feel heavy. This outgoing patient of mine is in her mid 30s. She is photographed approximately 6 weeks following upper blepharoplasty surgery. Her appearance is cleaner without being different following surgery. I am grateful for her trust.

Rhinoplasty is all about subtle changes that help enhance the harmony of the face. This new established facial harmony allows for other features of the face such as beautiful eyes, lips or jawline to become more noticeable and less distracted by a nose that draws attention. This professional patient of mine is photographed approximately 6 months following open rhinoplasty surgery. She is in her late 40s and was always bothered by how her nose was the feature that was noticed first. Following surgery, her face appears more balanced and her nose is not what draws attention first.

Patient safety is the most important goal when performing facial rejuvenation surgery. The next most important goal is not to change the identity of our patients. This beautiful patient of mine is photographed approximately 5 weeks following surgery. She is in her late 50s and underwent deep plane facelift, deep neck lift with partial submandibular gland excision, and micro fat grafting surgery. During her post op visit she mentioned that her friends and neighbors did not notice that she had recent surgery. This is the highest compliment especially when we compare her pre and post procedure photographs. I am grateful for her trust.

Will face lift surgery make me look funny? After ensuring the safety of our patients, not changing their identity is the next important goal. The best compliment we hear from our patients during follow up visits is that their friends and family did not notice. This beautiful patient of mine is photographed approximately 6 weeks following deep plane face lift and deep neck lift surgery. This included partial submandibular gland excision and facial micro fat grafting. She is thrilled that she is able to be presentable in her neighborhood already without being concerned about looking like she had surgery.
