If you were lucky you had the chance to meet Jane during her tenure at Roberts & Brown. Even though her time with us was short, we were lucky to have her return from Ireland for a 2nd summer between her optometry studies. Jane was an absolute joy to be around, she was never not smiling! Her warm and kindhearted approach was an asset to us and she will be missed. We wish her the best as she completes her last year of school before officially becoming an Optometrist.

We often think about tidying our homes during spring—but what about our glasses?

This time of year brings pollen, dust, and debris that can settle into the hard-to-reach areas of your frames and lenses. An ultrasonic cleaning uses gentle sound waves to lift away dirt, oil, and buildup—restoring clarity and comfort without damaging your eyewear.

It’s a simple step that makes a big difference. Visit us for a professional clean and keep your glasses in top shape this season.

A moment like this says it all 💛

Choosing glasses isn’t just about vision, it’s about confidence, comfort, and helping your child feel like themselves. It’s normal for parents to have questions
“Will they actually wear them?”
“What if they’re uncomfortable at school?”
“Are they durable enough for everyday play?”

That’s where we come in!
At Roberts & Brown, we’re here to answer all your questions and guide you through every step. We work closely with you to help find the right fit, the right style, and the right approach so your child feels comfortable, confident, and excited about their glasses.

A little preparation before your visit ("this isn't the eye doctor, this is the fun dress up part", keeping things positive and involving your child in the choice, makes all the difference. Our kid friendly environment and supportive staff, create a moment to celebrate, not stress over.
