Sweet Treats, Fluffy Friends & Fall Fun at peopleCare Tavistock!

What a wonderful few weeks filled with smiles, laughter, and a little extra sweetness! We enjoyed getting out to enjoy some delicious ice cream, taking in the beautiful fall weather, and spending some special time cuddling some adorable furry friends. ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

From friendly competition and fun activities to precious moments with our fluffy visitors, itโ€™s the little things that make such wonderful memories!

A day spent at the Norfolk County Fair! ๐ŸŽก

Our residents and staff at Delhi PeopleCare Long-Term Care Home had such a wonderful time enjoying a day at the Norfolk County Fair yesterday!

Although it was chilly and windy, there were smiles, laughter, great food, and lots to see and enjoy. It was so special to get out into the community, make memories together, and experience all the excitement the fair had to offer! ๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ„

๐ŸŽ๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿบ Weโ€™ve been celebrating fall in style at Delhi People Care! ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŽ

Itโ€™s been a busy month filled with fun, laughter, great food, and lots of wonderful memories with our residents! โค๏ธ

๐ŸŽ Apple Fest โ€” We celebrated all things apple and enjoyed some delicious fall flavours, fun activities, and plenty of smiles! Apple Donuts from the Apple Place in Simcoe. The residents made some homemade apple c***r, apple crumble, apple muffins and apple cake!

๐ŸŒบ Hawaiian Day โ€” We brought a little tropical sunshine to Delhi with bright colours, music, and lots of island spirit! Our residents and staff had a blast getting into the Hawaiian spirit! Including a Hawaiian casino prize game!

๐Ÿบ Oktoberfest โ€” Prost! ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช We brought the Oktoberfest celebrations to Delhi People Care with great food, music, fun, and of course, plenty of German-inspired spirit! ๐ŸŽถ

At Tillsonburg LTC, Truth and Reconciliation Day is a time to respect, learn and turn remembrance into action.

Our residents wanted to do more than simply wear orange shirts to recognize the day. They wanted to make a meaningful difference.

Together, they packaged candy bags and sold them throughout the day, with proceeds going to a local Indigenous organization.

Thanks to everyone who helped support our first giving back project.

Friday was a wonderful day at peopleCare Delhi, as we came together for our Walk to Wellness! ๐Ÿ’™

It was so special to see our residents, families, staff, community partners and friends come together to enjoy the fresh air, connect, laugh and make memories.โ˜€๏ธ

A huge thank you to our MPP Bobbi Ann Brady and Noel Haydt for helping๏ฟผ, and to everyone who came out to support and volunteer. Your support means so much to our community!

What a great day for OLTCA Community Engagement Day at Oakcrossing LTC ๐Ÿ’™

We got outside, got moving, and enjoyed a walk together with our residents, family, staff, and some amazing community partners. We were also joined by Mayor Josh Morgan, Peggy Sattler, PRO resp, ARVAN, and TRIOS, who all took the time to walk alongside us and connect with our community.

Today was a special day at peopleCare Tillsonburg as we completed our very first Community Walk to Wellness! We were happy to share in this peopleCare tradition.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to support us-including Mayor Deb Gilvesy, Tillsonburg Fire Department, our community partners and the students from Annandale PS.
There was lots of connecting, laughing, enjoying the fresh air and most importantly, community coming together.
