Yesterday was one of those days that remind us why community matters so much.💕
Our Cruisin’ For A Cause Car Show was truly something special.
With the perfect summer weather, rows of beautiful classic cars, wonderful car owners, and our Westhill residents, tenants, families, friends and guests all coming together, there was a feeling of joy everywhere you looked.
But it wasn’t just about the cars. It was about the memories they brought with them.
We heard things like, “That was my first car,” and “I learned how to drive in that vehicle.” Conversations sparked memories, stories were shared, and strangers became friends as everyone gathered around these incredible pieces of history.
There was something so heartwarming about seeing generations come together - families, friends, neighbours and our Westhill community sharing stories, laughter and a little bit of nostalgia.
A huge thank you to our Food Service Team for an incredible BBQ and for helping bring everyone together around the table. And thank you to every resident, tenant, family member, friend, volunteer, car owner and team member who helped make the evening such a success.
And then there’s the part that makes our hearts even happier…
We have officially surpassed $1000.00 raised for Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime!
What started as a car show became so much more. It became an evening of connection, memories, generosity and community.
Thank you for making Cruisin’ for a Cause a day we won’t soon forget. ❤️
