Your heart is quietly failing and your doctor isn't looking.
A study just dropped from the American Heart Association.
Women in perimenopause are 2X more likely to have a low cardiovascular health score than women still having regular cycles.
Twice the risk. In your 40s. Right now.
Not because anything changed in your lifestyle.
Because perimenopause silently shifts your cholesterol. Your blood sugar. Your blood pressure. Your insulin response. All of it.
Heart disease kills more women than every cancer combined.
And the window where it starts isn't postmenopause. It's perimenopause.
The decade nobody screens you in.
Three numbers you ask for at your next appointment:
Fasting lipid panel.
Fasting glucose or A1C.
Blood pressure.
Not "we'll get to it next year."
Now.
Your 60s are being decided in your 40s and nobody warned you.

Your eggs are lying to you. And nobody told you the real timeline.
You were taught the cliff is at 35. The truth is your fertility starts a measurable decline in your late 20s and the drop gets steep before 35, not after.
Here's the data nobody hands you in school.
By age 30, the average woman has about 12% of her original egg reserve. By 35 she's down to about 3%. And egg quality, not just quantity, is dropping the entire time.
That doesn't mean you need to have a baby right now. It means the choices you make in your 20s about freezing eggs, getting your AMH and antral follicle count checked, knowing your hormone profile, those choices have a deadline that nobody's putting on a calendar for you.
The reason you weren't told?
The system has not caught up to how women actually live now. Career first. Partner later. Kids when life is stable. Every part of that is reasonable. The biology did not get the memo.
What to actually do.
Get your AMH tested. It's a simple blood test. Get an antral follicle count on ultrasound. These two numbers tell you where you actually stand on your egg reserve. Most family doctors will not offer this. You have to ask.
This is not about pressure. This is about information you should have had at 22, not 38.

The headline you keep seeing is based on a real study. But there's a second study most outlets aren't reporting β€” and it tells a very different story.
Here's the part nobody's explaining: serious scientists looking at overlapping data are reaching different conclusions. That's not a cover-up. That's what an unsettled question looks like.

The good news? You don't need a population average to know what's happening with you. A semen analysis is fast, cheap, and tells you the only number that actually matters.

Save this. Send it to a man in your life. πŸ’™

Two of the most common conditions I treat are endometriosis and PCOS. And here's what most patients are never told: they travel together far more often than people realize.A study of 380 women diagnosed with endometriosis found that nearly 25% also had PCOS β€” and the women with both had nearly double the odds of infertility compared to those with one alone. The clinical trap: these conditions can mask each other. Pelvic pain gets blamed on the endo. Irregular cycles get blamed on the PCOS. And nobody steps back to screen for both.If you've been diagnosed with one β€” ask your doctor directly: "Have we ruled out the other one?"Save this. Send it to a friend with PCOS or endo. 🀍Tag someone who needs to ask this question πŸ‘‡.

This need to be understood.

He’s forgetting the fact that the egg chooses the s***m.

Even with millions of chances sometimes none are chosen.

The guys needed that many because the egg is picky.

But it is damn funny.! πŸ˜‚

Make it make sense:

You spend three months suffering through menopause - hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disturbances and diminished libido.

All for one goal: ELIMINATE THE IMPACT OF ESTROGEN

Fully suppressed, your estrogen near rock bottom, and then they put you on…

Yeah. ESTROGEN. By the truck load.

So when you most needed it to be low and after suffering to get it there you force fed the precise thing that you were trying to suppress in the first place.

How can that EVER make any sense?

It doesn’t. So don’t do it.
