Last week, we had the opportunity to connect with Senior Resource Coordinators and Tenant Resource Coordinators in Steinbach and the surrounding area to discuss our Lifeline services and explore how we can work together to help more people in our communities live safely, independently, and with peace of mind.

For working caregivers who are supporting older adults with cognitive changes, spring time can also bring with it some added worry.

That urge to go out can sometimes lead to wandering, which can quickly become dangerous if a loved one becomes disoriented or unable to find their way home, especially when you’re balancing work, family, and caregiving responsibilities.

Lifeline with Wandering helps caregivers stay connected through an online mapping tool that lets you monitor a loved one’s location, view their route, and quickly identify their last known location if help is needed.

With AI-powered scams like voice cloning and deepfakes on the rise, older adults are being targeted in more convincing ways than ever. In fact, nearly 2 in 3 Canadians aged 55+ say they feel at risk of financial fraud.
