New article alert! "“I'm still on that dark path, but I can see the red road in the distance:” A semiotic analysis of word-imagery and narrative among Indigenous people living with HIV in Manitoba" by Jared Star, Laurie Ringaert, Albert McLeod, Gayle Restall, Pamela Orr, Melissa Morris, Ann Favel, and Linda Larcombe

This article explores how First Nations people living with HIV in northern Manitoba and the health care providers who support them articulate their experiences of diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care through word-imagery and narrative storytelling.

When our friends at Southdale Food Store saw our urgent call for menstrual care items, they quickly stepped up with a generous donation of more than $500 to support our Pit Stop program. It’s a great example of and the impact our community can make when we come together.

Every donation to Nine Circles helps support more than 63,000 visits to our centre each year, advancing our mission to provide equitable, low-barrier access to care and support. Donations also help us promote period equity by ensuring community members have consistent access to free menstrual products. For many individuals, necessities such as food, housing, medications, and transportation must take priority, making access to menstrual care products an ongoing challenge.

Your support helps ensure that no one has to go without these essential items.
