John HAFFNER (1850-1921) was a Winnipeg businessman. A longtime resident of Winnipeg and a resident of the Wilfred Apartments, he died at his home on 24 Feb 1921 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Murray James FOSTER (1942-2002) was a farmer, business manager, and municipal official in the St. Andrews municipality. He died in Winnipeg on 09 July 2002 and was buried in the St. George's Wakefield Anglican Cemetery.

Dawson Kerr ELLIOTT (1853-1946) was a Winnipeg merchant, industrialist and civic leader. He died in Winnipeg on 27 September 1946 and is buried in the St. John's Anglican Cemetery.

Caroline Elizabeth, Countess/Marquise d’Assereto di SERRAVALLE (1846-1936) was a Manitoba pioneer. She died on 24 January 1936 in her 90th year and was buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Winnipeg. She lived a life marked by travel, resilience, and reinvention.

Congratulations to Dr. Shelley Sweeney on the acknowledgement of her hard work in uncovering the history of Asile Ritchot and its cemetery in St. Norbert.

We are happy to collaborate with Dr. Sweeney from OURS-Winnipeg and Cat Gauthier from Coalition to Save Lemay Forest in creating a list of the children who died at Asile Ritchot and/or were buried in the Asile Ritchot cemetery for the purpose of a memorial which will be created by the Government of Manitoba.

Henry Fleming CALDWELL (1857-1927) was a Dauphin merchant, farmer, and municipal official. He died in Dauphin on 26 April 1927. He is buried in the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. He is remembered for his contributions to agriculture, business, and civic life in the Dauphin district.
