Some of you have already decided you are the exception. Too many years in, too many diagnoses deep, too far down for any of this to reach you.

I want to talk to that specific belief, because it is the most dangerous one I know.

It is also the one I held the longest.

A doctor once looked at me and said I would not make it past 40.

And for a while I believed him more than I believed myself.

I organised my whole life around being someone whose body had already run out of chances.

So when I say I know this feeling, I am not guessing.

I planned for an early death.

I made peace with it before I ever made peace with healing.

Then something in me refused to sign off on that story.

Here is what I know now that I could not see then.

Being sick for a long time feels like proof that your window has closed.

It is not proof of anything. It is just a long chapter, not the ending you keep assuming it is.

I am past 40. I have two kids. That doctor has not seen me in years.

The years you have lost did not use up your chance to heal. They are just the part of the story you were stuck in before this one.

Being sick for years does not mean you missed your chance to heal.

It means you have not reached it yet. Your body still knows the way back.

What have you already decided about your body that might not actually be true.

Your pain is not a medical mystery. It is a message.

That is the thing nobody says out loud.

Not your gynaecologist. Not the specialist.
Not the surgeon telling you your only real option is to cut something out.

Because if it were true, there would be nothing to prescribe. Nothing to remove.
And a whole industry would have to sit with the fact that women's pain has been treated as a problem to manage for far too long.

Endometriosis does not live in your uterus.
It lives between your hips.
And between your hips is where you regulate every emotion you were never taught how to release.

The disappointment you swallowed. The times you felt unsafe as a little girl. The moments you quietly wondered if you were even desirable.

All of it goes somewhere. And for many women, it goes here.

I know that from the inside.
I fainted almost every month from period pain.

And for years I rejected being a woman entirely, because being a man just looked easier.

There is one question that changes everything.

And it is not the one your doctor is asking.

I go into it in the video above.

If you felt unseen as a girl, comment SEEN below.

And if you are ready to work on this from the root, the link to book a call with me is in the bio.

You had a good week. Then this morning happened, and now you are quietly convinced the good week was a fluke.

I have watched this exact thought take people down more times than any actual symptom.

It took me years to see how much damage it does.

Because here is the strange thing about it.

The bad day is not what sets you back.
The story you tell yourself about the bad day is.

I spent years riding that wave.

A stretch of feeling almost normal, sleeping through the night, moving without thinking about it.
Then one flare would arrive and I would sit there deciding none of it had been real. That I had imagined getting better.

I did that to myself over and over.
And the progress was still there underneath the whole time.
I just could not see it through one hard morning.

What finally changed was small.

I stopped letting a single day cast a verdict on the entire journey.

Your body does not delete months of work because today hurts.
It is still holding everything you gave it.

The good food, the rest, the trauma you finally let move through you.
None of that leaves because of one bad morning.

A bad day does not erase the progress you made on the good ones.
Healing is not cancelled because today is hard.

Think back to your last bad day. What did you decide about yourself that was not actually true.

Your body is not broken. It is protecting you.

That is the thing no fertility clinic will ever tell you.

Because it does not fit inside a treatment plan. It does not sell an injection. And it takes longer than one cycle to unwind.

But it is the reason so many women go through round after round of IVF and still cannot understand why nothing is holding.

Your womb is not just an organ.

It holds the safety you were given as a little girl. Or the safety you were never given.

The relationship you had with your mother. With your father.

Things that happened long before you ever thought about becoming a mother yourself.

And when something in there is still holding on, your body will not create new life.
Not because it cannot. Because it does not feel safe to.

I know that from the inside. I was pushed into hormonal injections in my thirties. And I lost a baby at 16 weeks of pregnancy.

There is one question that changes everything. And it is not the one your doctor is asking.

I go into it in the video above.

If this touched something in you, comment YES below.

One question shows up on every healing journey, usually early.
How long is this going to take.

It is the one question I never answer with a number.
And most people do not like that at first.

Because a number is what they came for. Something to plan around, something to tell their family, something to measure themselves against on the hard weeks.

I understand it. I wanted one too.

Seven years I spent just on my diet. Cutting things out, adding things back, watching for any sign it was working.

Some of those years showed me nothing at all, and that was harder than the pain. At least the pain was proof something was happening.

And the whole time I was doing the maths in my head.

Three years in and still tired. Five years in and still cancelling things.
Every honest look at where I was became evidence that I was failing at this.

What kept me going had nothing to do with a date on a calendar.

It was something much smaller than that, and I did not recognise it until much later.

Here is the part nobody says to you.

The clock in your head is not measuring your healing.
It is measuring how long you think other people will keep being patient with you.

And that is a completely different thing.

Your body has never once cared what month it is. It just responds to what you give it, in the order it needs to.

You do not owe anyone a timeline for your recovery.

Not your family, not your job, not even yourself.

So what does your body actually need right now, if nobody was waiting.

Your brain fog might not be what you think it is.

For years I blamed everything else.

My hormones. My schedule. The kids. The stress.

Every doctor had a different answer and every answer required another prescription.

Nobody asked me the simplest question.

Your brain is almost 90% water.

When it does not get enough, it does not send you a warning light. It sends you brain fog.

Forgetfulness. The crash at 2pm. The word you cannot find in the middle of a sentence. The exhaustion that no amount of sleep seems to fix.

Most of us are running our entire life through a system that has been quietly asking for one thing.

And we are giving it coffee. Red Bull. Coca Cola. Something to push through instead of something to fill up.

There is a version of you that wakes up clearer. Thinks faster. Feels lighter by lunchtime. And she is not far away.

Sometimes she is one glass of water closer than you think.

Start with what is simple. The rest gets easier from there.

You read a post like this and your first thought is here we go again.

That reaction is not cynicism. It is memory. Some part of you has hoped before and paid for it.

I know that feeling well. I lived inside it for years.

Every specialist told me my results looked normal while my body felt like it was falling apart. Test after test came back clean.

So I stopped expecting a different outcome. That felt safer than hoping again.

Then someone finally checked something nobody else thought to check. Mercury in my blood.
Nobody had even mentioned that as a possibility before him.

That single test changed the direction of everything that came after.

Here is what I actually want you to sit with though.

I was still doubting even as it started working.

Doubt did not disappear the moment things improved. It just stopped running the show.
I kept going while it sat there in the background, and slowly it got quieter.

So if you are reading this half convinced nothing will help you, I understand that completely.

That history is real. It happened to you. Years of trying and getting nowhere leave a mark, and it makes sense that you would protect yourself from hoping too hard again.

It just is not a prediction of what happens next.

What would it take for you to try one more time?

The reason you reach for sugar at 4pm has nothing to do with hunger.

You reach for it because something inside you is asking for a little bit of pleasure. A break. A moment where you feel good again.

I did the same for years. Sick, exhausted, running on empty. Sugar was the fastest way to feel something other than pain.

The problem is what happens after. The high goes down fast. And you end up lower than you were before you ate it.

When I finally stopped, things started to shift. Slowly. The fog lifted. My energy came back. I could think clearly again.

If your body is asking you for sugar every day at 4pm, listen closer. What it actually needs is not in the cupboard.

I lost 11 years to managing symptoms.

Doctors, medication, days planned around what my body could handle that morning. I called it living because I did not know another version existed.

Healing started with grief for me, and that surprised me. You have to actually feel what those years cost you before you can let any of it go.

I grieved the mother I could not fully show up as. The version of me that disappeared into appointments and bad days instead of being present. It took me a long time to stop being angry about that.

And I healed anyway, angry and all. Nobody warned me those two things could sit in the same body at the same time.

You are allowed to be angry about what this illness has taken from you. You are also allowed to start healing today, in the middle of that anger, without waiting for it to pass first.

Start where you actually are, not where you wish you were.

Her osteopath refused to touch her until she took medicine.

Françoise said no.

Surgery on her foot at 17. Ankle sprains she stopped counting somewhere between 10 and 15. And last year, a body that could barely walk.

Everyone worked on the hip. Nobody asked what the hip was carrying.

We did one session. Two hours. It was hard, because we did not touch the hip. We went to the root.

She woke up the next day with no pain.

Now she is writing a stand up comedy show. All that energy had been trapped in a body that could not move.

I did not heal her. She showed up and did the work. I just asked the question.

If your body has been stopping you and nobody can tell you why, the link to book a call with me is in the bio.
