Linzi McKerrecher from the Sexual Health & BBV MCN team will be hosting a webinar for parents and carers of children of any age and staff supporting parents or carers. Two dates are available - both are the same webinar/content, just on different days/times to try be as accessible for everyone.

Learning Outcomes

• Gain knowledge of The Chat resource and how it can be used at home

• Gain knowledge of the NHS Tayside Speakeasy programme, including accompanying resources, and how this can support conversations around growing up, relationships & sexual health with children and young people

You can join from any device (phone laptop or tablet) and don't need to use your microphone (you can have your camera on where possible as it's nice to see people's faces) 🙂

We will be closed for routine appointments after 1pm on Wednesday the 4th of Sepetmber

GP Practices throughout Tayside are committed to providing patients with the highest quality care. They participate in a number of Protected Learning Time (PLT) sessions throughout the year which allows them to provide access to training for the whole practice team.

Most GP Practices throughout Tayside will be closed for routine appointments between 1-6pm on Wednesday 2 September to take part in PLT sessions.
Please be assured, access to urgent care for patients will continue throughout this time.

During those hours on Wednesday 2 September, GP practices will continue to be contactable by phone to access urgent care which cannot wait until the practice reopens the following morning or to make any future appointments or medication requests.

GP surgeries will resume their usual working hours again on Thursday 3 September.

If you have one of our blood pressure monitors, please record your weekly readings and return the monitor within 10 days.
Failure to return the monitor promptly increases waiting times for other patients. Please note that monitors not returned will result in an invoice being issued for the full replacement cost of the device.

Kinloch Rannoch surgery will be open until midday on Monday the 27th of July

Most GP surgeries in Tayside will be closed on Monday 27 July.

Please ensure you have enough of your regular medication before the public holidays and only order what you need. There is no need to order additional medication.

🚨NEW MENB VACCINE🚨

The MenB vaccine is being offered to some older teenagers and new students under 25 who are at higher risk of exposure to meningococcal group B bacteria.

If you’re eligible for the MenB vaccine, it’s important you take up the offer before you start your new semester of university or college. Remember, if you’re eligible for the vaccine you can self-consent.
