📢 IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE

Abertillery Group Practice will be closed on Wednesday 30th September 2026 from 1:00pm to 6:30pm.

This is to allow our practice team to attend mandatory training hosted by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).

🕐 Practice closure: 1:00pm – 6:30pm
📅 Wednesday 30th September 2026

During this time, the practice will be unable to provide appointments, or other administrative services. If you need assistance, please contact the practice on 01495 361636 for further instructions.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as our team undertakes this important training to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

From today, the RSV vaccine is being offered to more people, with the programme expanding to include some adults aged 65–74 with certain health conditions who are at higher risk from RSV. 📢

RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a common virus that can cause serious illness, particularly in babies, older adults and people with certain health conditions.

The vaccine helps protect against severe illness caused by RSV. If you receive an invitation, make sure you attend your appointment. 📩
