The Community & Staff Team held their nerve and took the TAB Community Trophy.

The Youth Ambassadors haven’t forgotten....

TAB X Childhood cancer awareness month
Hi guys, a little bit out of my comfort zone putting this out there to people. This is my sister. She was diagnosed with Leukaemia when she was 3. During this time myself and my family's worlds had all been rocked. The uncertainty, sadness surviving each day rather than living them it was almost like we went from having everything to nothing in the space of 24 hours. Fast forward to now she is about to turn 6 and is in remission. If you would have told me that back then I would never have believed you.
When my sister first got diagnosed it was around the time I found TAB. I remember walking into my first drop in session very nervously and being met immediately by Holly who took me under her wing and has never been able to get rid of me since. The help I received from TAB was immense and is one of the main reasons that I have chosen to go into this career.

Sending a huge thanks to all of the businesses in our local community that have kindly donated raffle prizes for our football event next Wednesday.

The Abingdon Bridge was created by people who know how important it is to have somewhere to turn, because they wished a service like this existed when they were younger. We’re working to change the story around mental health and make sure young people have the support, connection and opportunities they deserve in our community.

Culture Week - Day 2
What a way to kick off the summer holidays! The team have been non stop and have engaged with so many of Abingdon's young people already this week!

Yesterday, our young people made dishes from their cultures, sharing not only incredible food but also the traditions and pride behind them. It was a chance to learn from one another, celebrate our differences and come together as one community.
We're so proud of every young person who represented their culture with confidence and encouraged others to try something new 💚

Everything planned this summer has been co-created with young people and youth work team

Whether you're with us every week or it's your very first session and you're feeling a little nervous, we've got you. Our team will be there to give you a warm welcome and help you settle in.

We'll be sharing the following week's timetable every Thursday, alongside our regular weekly activities that you can join throughout the summer.

On Monday, the Abingdon Bridge team came together for some really important training session focused on su***de prevention and support.
It was a powerful, reflective day that reminded us just how vital compassion, awareness, and connection are in our work and community.
We were also very fortunate to be supported by our local coffee shop, Missing Bean who kindly provided an incredible spread of pastries for everyone attending. With such a large group present, their generosity didn’t go unnoticed, it truly helped make the day feel even more cared for and community-driven.
We are sincerely grateful for their kindness and ongoing support.
Moments like these are a reminder of how important local connection is. Please continue to support small businesses that show up for their communities in meaningful ways. TAB x
