✨ THE AFTER-SUMMER SKIN RESET ✨

Your skin has worked hard all summer.

Sun exposure, heat, swimming, air conditioning and long days can leave even well-cared-for skin feeling dehydrated, lacklustre and a little tired.

Now is the perfect time to press reset. 🤍

NCTF® skin revitalisation delivers a carefully formulated blend of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids and minerals to support your skin from within — helping to restore hydration, luminosity and overall skin quality.

Think fresh, replenished and beautifully healthy-looking skin, ready for the season ahead.

Because autumn is the perfect time to repair, replenish and restore. 🍂

✨ Your post-summer skin deserves a little love.

Healthy skin. Not perfect skin.

I’m still a rockstar… I just do my skincare routine and get into bed at 9pm now. 🤘🏼😂

Gone are the days of stumbling home at 3am.

Now I’m living dangerously…

✨ Cleansing
✨ Applying my serums
✨ Moisturising
✨ Putting my phone on charge
✨ And absolutely NOT answering another WhatsApp 😂

9pm bedtime? Rock ‘n’ roll. 🎸

And honestly, getting enough sleep and looking after your skin feels far more rebellious these days than staying out until 3am!

Ageing? Yes.
Growing up? Absolutely not. 😂❤️

🌞🌙 Your skin has a rhythm too…

Did you know your skin follows its own circadian rhythm — with different priorities during the day and at night?

☀️ Daytime = protection
Your skin is exposed to UV, pollution and other environmental stressors, so daytime skincare should focus on defending and supporting the skin barrier.

🌙 Night-time = repair & renewal
While you sleep, your skin switches its focus towards repair and renewal. This is where we can introduce ingredients that support those processes.

Two of my favourite ingredients that can work beautifully within this routine are:

✨ Vitamin C in the morning – an antioxidant that helps protect the skin from environmental damage and supports collagen production.

✨ Retinol at night – helps encourage skin renewal and collagen production, improving the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and pigmentation over time.

And of course… SPF every morning! ☀️

One important caveat: not every skin needs an active ingredient every day. If your skin is sensitive, reactive or your barrier is compromised, introducing vitamin C or retinol too quickly can cause irritation.

Healthy skin comes first. Sometimes a simple, barrier-supporting routine is exactly what your skin needs. 🤍

🇰🇷 Korean skincare — is the hype justified?

Korean skincare has taken the beauty world by storm… but is it actually better?

The answer is: sometimes! 👇

✨ The pros
Korean skincare is often brilliant at:
• Hydration and supporting the skin barrier
• Using innovative ingredients and formulations
• Creating lightweight, elegant textures that are easy to layer
• Making skincare feel enjoyable and accessible
• Offering excellent value for money

But there are a few things to keep in mind…

⚠️ The cons
More products doesn’t necessarily mean better skin. The famous “10-step routine” can actually be too much for some skin types.

And while Korean brands can contain fantastic ingredients, “Korean” doesn’t automatically mean more effective. The formulation, concentration, stability and quality of the product matter far more than where it was made.

Some products are also designed primarily for hydration and maintaining healthy-looking skin rather than treating specific concerns such as pigmentation, acne or significant photo-ageing.

💡 My approach?

Take the best of Korean skincare — beautiful formulations, hydration and barrier support — but choose products based on what your skin actually needs, rather than following every trend.

Because healthy skin isn’t about having the biggest skincare routine.

It’s about having the RIGHT routine for your skin.
Let me know what you think and any experience with Korean skincare??

Combination treatments can be a really effective approach in aesthetics because different treatments can target different aspects of skin ageing at the same time.

For example, combining treatments such as peels, microneedling, LED, skin boosters or polynucleotides can help to:

✨ Improve skin texture and tone
💧 Boost hydration
🧬 Support collagen and elastin production
🌟 Improve radiance and overall skin quality
🎯 Address more than one concern rather than focusing on a single issue

The key is that combination treatments should be carefully planned and tailored to the individual. More treatments doesn’t automatically mean better results—it’s about choosing the right treatments, in the right order, with appropriate recovery time.

I love watermelon and eats loads in the summer months.
I’ve been more aware of its skin benefits this year and I’m seeing it used in aesthetic treatments and products
It’s benefits are multi fold

* Hydrating
*Antioxidant,it contains lycopene which is a carotenoid, these help to neutralise free radicals which are unstable molecules produced by things like UV exposure, pollution and normal metabolism. An excess of this stress can contribute to collagen breakdown, pigmentation and premature skin aging
*Vitamin A which is one of the most important vitamins for our skin, when ingested it is used for many functions in the body including maintaining skin function
I cut it up and store it ready cut in containers so I can grab an easy healthy skin beneficial snack…..and tastes so good too, what’s not to love

Watermelon isn’t just refreshing—it can be a little boost for your skin too! 🍉✨

💧 Hydration: Its high water content helps support overall hydration.
🍉 Antioxidants: Rich in lycopene, which helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
✨ Vitamin C: Supports normal collagen production and healthy-looking skin.
🌿 Vitamin A: Helps support normal skin maintenance.

Of course, no single food is a magic fix for your skin—but a colourful, varied diet can make a real difference to your overall skin health.

Healthy skin starts from the inside out. 💕
