💜 Cervical Screening Week: 15-21 June 💜

Cervical screening is one of the best ways to help prevent cervical cancer, yet many people delay or miss their appointment. If your aged 25-64 and have a cervix, cervical screening can help detect changes early, before they become serious. The test is quick, simple and could save your life!

If you've received and invitation or think you may be due, please contact the surgery to book your appointment. Don't put it off - a few minutes could make such a big difference.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside has launched a new communications campaign called 'Make the switch'.

This is an awareness and behaviour-change campaign supporting patients to switch to using more readily available and cost-effective medication options in support of the ICB’s financial recovery programme and wider NHS priorities around cost-effective prescribing.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the need to optimise NHS spend on medications, and tackle common barriers to switching medications. It will help us to increase the cost-effectiveness of our medicines for our patients without compromising care.
