Rhys’ 6-Month Review ✨

Time really does fly! Rhys has now been on his work placement with the I Can Therapy for 6 months, and what a journey it’s been so far 🙌

During his time with us, Rhys has not only experienced the Therapy Centre, but has also been involved in other programmes too, including the Community Club, giving him the chance to see different sides of what we do.

Over the next few posts, Rhys will be sharing his experiences, highlights and a behind-the-scenes look at his first 6 months with us.

Our Monday Community Club Kurling session on 11th May was extra special, as we joined Enham Trust at their sports hall for a fantastic morning together! 🎯

It was wonderful to bring both groups together, sharing different styles of play, tips, and plenty of laughter along the way. The session wasn’t about competition - just a relaxed and friendly opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and enjoy the game in great company 😊

A big thank you to Enham for hosting us and making us feel so welcome - we had a brilliant time! 💙

Join us for the launch of I Can Move More Abbotts Ann! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome local residents to a FREE community session on Saturday 13th June from 10am - 12pm at Abbotts Ann War Memorial Hall.

The morning will include fun activities, gentle movement, friendly faces and plenty of opportunities to socialise over a cuppa and cake. If you’d like to stay active, meet new people and enjoy being part of your local community, this is the perfect opportunity to come along and see what it’s all about.

😄 Meet Chris – Volunteer at our I Can Community Club! 😄

Chris loves the satisfaction he gets from helping people and seeing how even the smallest support can truly change someone’s day. 🙌

Interesting fact: He has two rescue cats – Timmi and the ginger pest Louie! 🐱🐾

Spreading positivity, making a difference, and sharing a few laughs along the way – that’s Chris for you!

🐘 Meet Sharon – Volunteer at our I Can Community Club! 🐘

Sharon loves meeting new people, being part of a wonderful group, and helping everyone have the best possible time. Seeing others happy is what makes it all so rewarding for her. 😊

Interesting fact: She says she’s got four knees… which makes her an elephant - and just like them, she can’t jump either! 🙊
