Maggie & Rosie ❤️🐾

Some companions share a home.

Some share a lifetime.

Maggie and Rosie were sisters who shared everything, from cuddles on the sofa to life's happiest moments. Although their personalities were wonderfully different, they shared one thing above all else... they loved each other.

Arlo ❤️🐾

Every memorial we receive is deeply personal, but every so often we're entrusted with words that stay with us long after we've read them.

Louise recently shared this beautiful tribute to her beloved Arlo, and one sentence captured the extraordinary bond they shared:

Some companions become so much more than pets, they become part of who we are.

Jack ❤️🐾

Sometimes it's the smallest details that stay with families long after they've said goodbye.

When Elise wrote to us about her beautiful Greyhound, Jack, one sentence quietly captured everything we hope to offer every family who comes through our doors:

Saying goodbye is never easy, but if we can bring even a small sense of comfort, reassurance and peace during those moments, then we've done exactly what we're here to do.

🌿 Bank Holiday Weekend Availability

We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful vets we work alongside, who have kindly made themselves available over the Bank Holiday weekend.

🐾 End-of-life veterinary care is available throughout the weekend, with Sean, Joanna, Ian and Laura offering support.

Depending on availability and your wishes, care can be provided in the comfort and familiar surroundings of your own home, or here at Cherry Tree in our purpose-built, peaceful and homely veterinary clinic.

We know that having to say goodbye to a much-loved pet can be one of the hardest decisions a family has to make. Whether you need veterinary support, someone to talk through your options, or our individual cremation services, you do not have to face those difficult moments alone.

There will be someone here to help and guide you with kindness, dignity and compassion.

Little Bear ❤️🐾

Every family remembers different things about the companions they love, but one sentence in Tabbitha & Shelley's testimonial said everything we needed to know about Little Bear...

"He was the centre of our world."

It was a privilege to care for such a loved boy and to help his family say goodbye in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by the people who loved him most.

Your words mean so much to everyone at Cherry Tree, and we hope they'll bring comfort to other families who may one day find themselves making the same heartbreaking decision.

We sadly had to say goodbye to our nearly 15 year old Staffy, Little Bear. We cannot thank Cherry Tree enough for the dignity, respect and genuine compassion they showed us and Little Bear throughout the whole process. He was the centre of our world and making the decision to say goodbye was heartbreaking so being able to say our goodbyes at home meant a lot to us.

Laura from Time2saygoodbye was patient, caring, and gentle throughout the whole process. She was incredibly kind, explained everything simply, took time to learn about Little Bear and all his wonderful mannerisms and character. Most importantly she allowed him to pass with peace and grace.

We miss him incredibly but knowing he was looked after until the very end and beyond by Laura and the team at the Cherry Tree provides us with some comfort. Little Bear’s ashes are back home with us where he belongs in the most beautiful casket with a footprint to always treasure.

Thank you for making the most devastating decision a little bit easier, but mostly thank you for looking after Little Bear x
