A little look back at a wonderful morning with Friday Friends in Barkway 🧡
Friday Friends is a wonderful community group that meets once a month at the Pavilion, bringing people together and providing a relaxed, safe space where things such as loneliness, loss and bereavement can be talked about.
I was very kindly invited along to talk about In My Hands - how it came about, why I created the space, the treatments I offer and some of the products I stock.
We talked about something very close to my heart, the importance of touch and human connection, and how something as simple as holding someone’s hand or giving a gentle massage can mean so much, particularly at times in our lives when we may experience less touch.
We also got hands-on with some simple massage, talked about lymphatic self-care and NADA ear acupuncture, and had a look at and tried some of the products I’d brought along.
I completely forgot to take photos while I was there 🤦🏽♀️😂 so when I got back to In My Hands, I thought I’d show you a few of the things I took with me, including the little goodie bags everyone went home with.
Thank you to Friday Friends for inviting me and making me feel so welcome. I was nervous beforehand, but it turned into such a lovely morning. 🤍
