Despite su***de prevention spanning housing, education, employment and community support, most services remain funded almost exclusively through Health. Su***de prevention is not solely a health issue, and we need cross-departmental working to make an impact.

After 10 wonderful years, we’re saying farewell to Liz, who has kept our Ballymena office spotless and welcoming for everyone at the Hub. Liz has been a valued member of our team, always bringing warmth, care, and a friendly chat to our days. Our Ballymena staff gathered for a special lunch to celebrate Liz’s retirement and thank her for her dedication. She’ll be greatly missed, but we’re excited for her to enjoy more time doing what she loves— especially dancing! Thank you, Liz, for your hard work, laughter, and the difference you’ve made to us all. Wishing you a happy and well-deserved retirement!

We are delighted to be shortlisted for the 2026 Northern Ireland Veterans Awards in the category of Veterans Charity of the Year.

This recognition means a great deal to us and reflects the commitment of our team to supporting veterans across Northern Ireland.

Through our RDV service, Start360 provides tailored, person-centred support to veterans who may be facing challenges with their mental health, wellbeing, substance use and their relationships.

Our approach is about looking at the whole person. We work alongside veterans to build confidence, strengthen resilience, reconnect with their communities and access the right support at the right time.

Being shortlisted is also recognition of the veterans who engage with us, share their experiences and put in the work to create positive change in their lives.

We are incredibly proud to see RDV and the wider work of Start360 recognised alongside others making a difference within the veteran community.
