💙 This World Alzheimer’s Month, we’re wearing our Forget Me Not badges with pride in the office to show our support for everyone affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s. 💙

Dementia doesn’t just affect the person living with it, it has a huge impact on families, friends and loved ones too. An early diagnosis can help people access the right support, understand what’s happening and plan for the future.

Raising awareness, understanding the signs and encouraging conversations around memory and cognitive changes can make a real difference. 🥰

Witham Community Care are looking for two new Support Workers to join their small and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family run Domiciliary Care Provider with a difference. We are looking for kind, caring and confident individuals to help us support people to remain living in their own homes safely. Our Support Workers must share our vision to provide outstanding care, and preferably have experience in caring for those aged 65+, however this isn’t a requirement, and we are committed to training enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who wish to begin a career in the health and social care sector.

Evening Support Worker:

This role is for an individual who would like to work between 16-24 hours per week. The role would suit somebody who is looking for additional work around another job perfectly or who would like to work on a part time basis, to include alternate weekends.

Support Worker:

This role is for an individual who would like to work between 24-36 hours per week, to include 1-2 working evenings per week, plus alternate weekends.

💙 September is World Alzheimer’s Month 💙

This year, the campaign theme is surrounding the importance of a timely and early medical diagnosis. Over the course of this month we will be posting about Alzheimer’s and Dementia across our Facebook and Instagram to join 1000’s of others in raising awareness.

Also keep your eyes peeled, as part of our awareness campaign, we will be running a giveaway on Monday 21st September, which is World Alzheimer’s Day! By entering you will be supporting Alzheimer’s charities and be in with a chance of winning a prize for yourself too! 🥰
