🎉 A party… just because! 🎉

There doesn’t always need to be a special occasion to get everyone together!

The team at Drayton Court Supported Living transformed the communal area for an afternoon of fun, welcoming people from our services Drayton Court, The Boathouse Supported Living and The Boathouse Residential.

There were party props, face painting, games, food and lots of laughing - everyone got involved and enjoying spending time together 🥳🎨

🔧 JOB OF THE WEEK | MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

This week, we’re recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Estates Team, working across Birmingham and the wider Midlands.

🏡 Full-time, permanent
💷 £28,000 per annum
🚐 Company van and fuel provided

This is a hands-on role helping to keep our services safe, welcoming and well maintained for the people we support. From general repairs, painting and decorating to gardening and planned maintenance, no two days will be quite the same.

We’re looking for someone with previous maintenance experience, practical skills and a full UK driving licence who takes pride in doing a job well.

Happy, who lives at our Payne’s Lane Supported Living service, enjoyed a trip to Daventry Country Park, where he met up with his sister for a walk and some quality time together.

Supporting people to maintain important relationships, get out into the community and enjoy the things that matter to them is all part of everyday life at Payne’s Lane. 💙

💇‍♀️ A First Hairdresser Experience for Jade!

A lovely day for Jade from Drayton Court, who enjoyed her first proper hairdresser experience, complete with a beautiful cut and colour! ✂️✨

Leanne supported Jade throughout the experience, before the pair headed out for a girly lunch to finish off the day. Jade looks fantastic, and it was great to hear how happy and grateful her mum and dad were for Leanne’s support in making the day so special for her - a real fun pamper session. 💜

Hamza has enjoyed a brilliant day at Walsall Mela, achieving one of his personal goals and enjoying the event with support from staff. 👏

Holly and Maggie also headed into Birmingham city centre with staff for a shopping trip and a day out together. 🛍️

At Brewers Meadow, like all our supported living services, support is focused on helping people build confidence, achieve their own goals and enjoy the activities and experiences that matter to them. With our wonderful team supporting them each step of the way 💚💙
