🌿🔮 WITCHY SKOOL #3 — ROSEMARY 🔮🌿
Remember I said our next protection tool was growing on my allotment?
Well… here she is. 😂🌿
ROSEMARY.
And if you thought rosemary was just for roast potatoes, we’re going a little further down the rabbit hole today. 👀
Rosemary has been surrounded by folklore and tradition for centuries and has long been associated with things such as:
🌿 Protection
🌿 Cleansing & purification
🌿 Remembrance
🌿 Clarity
🌿 Love & loyalty
It has appeared in homes, ceremonies, weddings, funerals and traditional folk practices — which is probably why rosemary has gathered so much symbolism around it over the years.
And here’s the funny thing…
I’ve been using rosemary every bloody morning anyway. 😂
I make rosemary water and spray it on my hair each morning.
And of course I’m growing it on the allotment.
Apparently the Witchy Allotment has been quietly happening without me realising. 😂🔮🌿
But how does rosemary fit into what we’ve been learning about protection?
Traditionally, people have incorporated rosemary into cleansing and protective practices in all sorts of ways — keeping it around the home, using dried sprigs, incorporating it into washes or baths, and sometimes burning it as an aromatic herb.
✨ YOUR LITTLE WITCHY PRACTICE
If you have some rosemary, take a sprig and actually smell it.
Don’t rush.
Hold it, breathe in the aroma and use it as a little moment to set an intention:
“I clear what I no longer need and protect the peace I’m creating.”
That’s it.
We’re not trying to summon anything from the vegetable patch. 😂😂
We’re learning how ordinary things can become meaningful little rituals when we use them intentionally.
And remember — I’m sharing the traditional and spiritual associations of these things. You don’t have to believe every bit of folklore you come across.
I actually WANT you to question things.

Because there is something I use after Reiki that many of you will have seen me holding without knowing exactly why.
