FCMS has delivered health and care services on behalf of the NHS since 1994. If you are a patient whether your contact with FCMS is via NHS 111, urgent care, a diagnostic test, a dental appointment, through one of our community outreach services, or via a remote consultation you will always be treated with dignity and respect. We are proud to innovate and we utilise the very latest technology to support clinicians in their day-to-day work. We also take pride in the development of our people and support colleagues to grow in their roles, acquire new skills and obtain recognised qualifications. FCMS is a social enterprise and we are fully committed to reinvesting into staff development and wellbeing, as well as improving patient care and supporting the communities in which we work and live. Today, FCMS supported a Women's Health & Wellbeing Event at Blackpool Salvation Army's Bridge Project in Blackpool, helping women experiencing homelessness or housing instability to access vital health and wellbeing services. 🚐

Alongside Blackpool Sexual Health Services, Blackpool Salvation Army - Employment Plus, Lancashire Women, Hep C Screening, and Broadway Pharmacy with Cure Clinics, the event brought together a range of support services helping women access support in a safe and welcoming environment.

A big thank you to everyone involved in providing support, advice and guidance throughout the day. 🙏

We're helping to raise awareness of a petition calling for Blackpool, Fleetwood and Thornton-Cleveleys to become the UK's first Safer Online Towns.

The campaign highlights the importance of accessible support for children, parents, carers and professionals who may be affected by online harms and cyberbullying.

🏆 Double success for FCMS at the 2026 UHUK Awards!

We're proud to share that FCMS has been recognised in two categories at this year's UHUK Awards.

🥇 Gold - Innovation in Action: For our Multi-Pathogen Outbreak Response Service, delivering rapid, clinician-led assessment and treatment to support public health protection across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

🥉 Bronze - Stronger Together: For our work on the Proactive Care in Priority Wards project in Blackpool, helping improve access to care and support for some of the area's most underserved communities.

These awards are a testament to the dedication, innovation and collaboration of colleagues and partners working together to improve healthcare outcomes for local communities.

Last week, FCMS were proud to attend the careers evening at St George's School Blackpool, speaking with students about the wide range of career opportunities available across healthcare.

𝐅𝐂𝐌𝐒 𝐆𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🩷

Today, colleagues across FCMS came together in support of Breast Cancer Now, dressing in pink, fundraising and raising awareness for a cause that affects so many people and families.

As part of our Wear It Pink campaign, colleague Linda Ingham shared her personal experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer following a routine mammogram in 2018, despite having no symptoms at the time.

Linda said:
