Young Electician with a 4 day history of possibly getting something in his eye. He had a metal foreign body embedded in his cornea and it had started to rust. We removed it for him and arranged an appointment at the eye unit in a few days after taking some antiboitic gel. The gel will help soften the residual rust, making it easier for it to be removed by an Alger Brush. Please wear safety spectales!!!

Jayde, one of our dispensing opticians was invited to Portugal to visit the Shamir lab and she had a fabulous time ✨👁️
The lab makes around 9,500 lenses a day, they are one of the most eco advanced labs. The lab started with only 12 employees originally and has now grown to 300, with lenses being supplied in UK, USA, Australia, South America, and Europe.
How impressive!
She also enjoyed a little bit of wine tasting 🍷

Sometimes the plugs that we use to slow down the drainage of tears in Dry Eye sufferers need to be removed. This lady had some plugs fitted elsewhere but they were causing a little discomfort due to the fl**ge rubbing on the white of her eye. The plug was easily removed and in cases like these we can refit with a different brand or one without the fl**ge. Either way Punctal Plugs remain a very good option for those with Dry Eyes.

Some of our patients are coming to the end of the planned year PBM therapy for early Dry AMD. The results speak for themselves! The images below show a before and after treatment, with an amazing reduction of macula drusen, and therefore a reduced risk of Retinal scar tissue, or conversion to Wet AMD. Contact us for details.
