The surgeries will be closed on Monday 15th June for the additional public holiday. Please make sure you collect any medication required prior to your registered practice's closing time on Friday 12th June.

In a life threatening medical emergency (e.g. chest pain, severe shortness of breath, a major accident or trauma, symptoms of a stroke) you should call 999.

The Emergency Department is located within Islay Hospital in Bowmore. Whilst you are free to attend without first seeking advice, if you are able to access care by the routes above it will allow us to prioritise the use of limited space within the hospital building.

VACANCY: MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST AND ADMINISTRATOR - ISLAY MEDICAL PRACTICE

Part-time, permanent (17 hours per week) - Tuesday morning, Thursday morning and Friday all day.

Hourly rate of pay: £13.50. Based mainly at the Rhinns Medical Centre and occasionally at Bowmore Medical Practice.
