September 2026 marks a big change for allergy safety in schools.

The new statutory Allergy safety in schools guidance means schools need to have appropriate allergy safety arrangements in place, including allergy safety training for staff.

But here’s the important question…

💙 What a week for JMS First Aid Training! 💙

It’s been another busy week delivering quality, hands-on first aid training across our local schools! 🏫👏

This week we’ve delivered:

👶 2 Blended Paediatric First Aid courses – helping early years staff stay confident and prepared.

🔄 Annual First Aid Refresher training for 40 secondary school staff, ensuring their knowledge is up to date with the 2025 Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines. 🚑

⛑️ 1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work for primary school support staff, giving them the practical skills and confidence to respond when it matters.

We love seeing schools investing in their staff and making first aid training more than just a tick-box exercise. ❤️

🦸‍♀️ Allergy & Anaphylaxis Training in Oxfordshire! 🦸‍♂️

Today we delivered our first Allergy & Anaphylaxis course to staff at an Oxfordshire primary school. 🏫

It was great to see staff getting involved, building their knowledge and developing the confidence to recognise and respond to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. ❤️

As a registered provider with Anaphylaxis UK, we’re proud to support schools with quality allergy and anaphylaxis training.

The school is also taking important steps towards complying with Benedict’s Law, ensuring they have the appropriate allergy awareness, emergency response training and procedures in place to help keep children safe. 🩷

A very busy week for the JMS First Aid Training team! 🙌

We’re kicking off a number of courses being delivered as part of INSET day training, supporting schools and their staff to build confidence and develop those all-important first aid skills. 💪❤️

And it’s not just one location… we’ll be delivering training across 3 counties this week! 🚗📍

It’s going to be a busy one for the team, but we absolutely love what we do! ❤️

Bank Holiday Monday = a great excuse to relax, enjoy some family time and hopefully have a well-earned cuppa! ☕️

But here’s a little First Aid Fun Fact to keep you thinking… 🩹🤔

🔥 DID YOU KNOW?
If someone gets a burn, cooling it with cool running water is beneficial for up to 3 hours after the injury, so even if you can’t cool it immediately, it’s still worth starting as soon as you can!

So don’t just think “It happened a while ago, there’s no point now.” cool it! 🩹💧
