We all know that massage reduces stress and relieves aches/pains but more so it teaches us to live inside our body again.
Most of us spend our days, entirely in our heads, thoughts, noise, screens. We loose what neuroscience calls 'interception awareness' the ability to read internal signals such as tension, emotion, safety.
We stop trusting ourselves, we miss what our nervous system is trying to tell us.
Massage doesn't just relax muscles, it reminds the brain that it has a body - and that body has things to say!
When did you feel truly at home in your body?

I've been working from my home treatment room on marine square for 18 years now! The decor has changed abit over that time but it's always and will continue to be a safe space for you to leave the world and anything you have going on, outside, tune into your body and reconnect with yourself 🙏❤️

It was my birthday yesterday! Had a lovely meal at the asian ivy, obligatory selfie in the ladies with my daughter(!) and delicious chocolate cake when we got home 😋 🙂
