This morning, Sarah, from The Carers' Centre and Sofia, from SWAN, met to discuss an exciting joint venture to celebrate the volunteers that give their time to support both these vital services.

SWAN transports a large number of passengers to the centre and to various activities across BANES organised by BCC, making it possible for carers to access respite, enjoy fun activities, improve their wellbeing and mental health, and meet with like-minded people who have shared experience of caring.

Changes to the NHS App

We have received a number of queries from patients who are unable to locate their consultation notes. The NHS App has recently undergone some changes — please see the updates below:

👩‍⚕️Consultation notes and events can now be found under ‘Appointment notes and other updates’ within the ‘Appointments’ section on the home page.

💉Information previously located in ‘GP Health Record’, such as test results, has now been moved to the home page under the relevant health categories to make it easier to access.
👨‍⚕️Under ‘Book an appointment’, patients can select ‘Ask about a health problem’ to contact their GP regarding a health issue by completing an online consultation form.
