One of the best things about our work is that we get to meet and speak with so many people. And second best, is that we have the time to do this - it's probably the most important time we spend.
We have time to hear what people want and need; whether that's letting stories and ideas flow, making plans alongside families or simply jotting down a to do list when we're given clear instructions for how we can help.
Often, it's all done best over a cup of tea. Our massive teapot comes into its own here - it's a good eight cupper, at least. Our Dying Conversations group is meeting on Thursday 30th April at Moor Imagination Collective MIC Centre on Chapel Street, Buckfastleigh at 6.30pm - 8pm.
This is a gentle and inclusive space to talk about any aspect of end of life, ask questions, listen to others.

When a person dies at home, and their death was expected, it is completely possible to keep them at home for hours, days and even longer after they've died.

Whilst this won't feel right for everyone and most funeral directors can come to provide support and care for the person with short notice, keeping a person at home is an option and a choice that we can support.

There is no rush nor urgency to do things quickly, if you prefer not to.
