Every September I begin a new spiritual journey

For this is when I take on 10 new students to train them and initiate them into becoming Priestesses, Priests or Priestexs of Cornwall

The journey is a shared one

And the journey primarily belongs to the student, but as their guide and teacher, I let myself go on the journey with them

Whatever spiritual skills I teach them, I also teach myself something new about it every year

Every piece of Priestess Homework, I do for myself as well

For if I expect my students to dive in at the deep end, then I must already be there in the depths guiding them through it

As a highly intuitive Priestess, I am also led by the unspoken or spoken experiences of my students

If they are struggling with self-worth, then that will naturally reflect into my life precisely so I can move through another layer of it and guide my student through it as well

It is interwoven

Hence why I only take on a small group of students each year

This Priestess training truly is the most powerful and the most life changing thing that I can offer you, and it will always be my privilege and pleasure to do so

This isn't about healing in order to be worthy

This is about a journey of remembrance

Tomorrow evening I will hand write the names and petitions of everyone who requests healing, then I will gather round the Sacred Flame of Cornwall, channel the healing energies of the Cornish ley lines, and burn your petitions with deep reverence and healing intentions

If you would like to receive healing on this new moon & eclipse night, then simply put your name or a cause close to your heart in the comments of this post 🙏🏻

You may also add what you would like the healing energy to help you with, but this isn't necessary. You can simply relax and trust that the Spirit of Cornwall will know where to direct it's healing energy for you 🌀

I am so honoured and excited to be conducting Handfastings with The Temple of Cornwall 🤩 Truth be told, I've been doing it for years, even before I birthed the Temple! But now they are back and even sweeter and more magical than before 🥰😇

Through the deeply divine training I experienced in Glastonbury, and through a further 7 years of experience, I am able to conduct your Handfasting ceremony unscripted. Without the shield of a script, I conduct ceremonies from the heart, and with the divine having the space to flow through and into your ceremony

These ceremonies are initiations for your union, an invitation to surrender to all that your love for each other carries. This is an initiation of powerful connection, one that is forged in the sacred fire of your love, cooled in the waters of harmony, and one that is brought into physical reality by the energies and divine present moment throughout your ceremony

Lammas blessings to you & your kin 🙏🏻☺️🌻🧡

Across Cornwall, and many other places in the Celtic Isles, Lammas is our first harvest festival of the year, and depending on how good a summer the farmers have had, they may well conduct their Crying the Neck over the first weekend in August, rather than at the traditional time of the Autumn Equinox

🌞

The ritual of Crying The Neck harkens back to a time when our Celtic ancestors would offer the blood of sacrifices (either animals or human, historians aren’t quite sure which) back to the land as thanks for the abundance of food, medicine, shelter and water that Mother Earth offers us

These days, rather than sacrificing lambs, Cornish farmers strike down the first sheaf of wheat as an act of sacrifice, They chant call and repeat songs over the ‘murdered’ wheat, this is then gifted to a woman close to the farmer (usually wife or daughter) and she will craft the remains of the slaughtered sheaf into a Corn Dolly, which hangs in the farmers house for the next year, until it is burnt (also a sacrifice) by the women of the house when a new Corn Dolly is ready to take its place

Here in the far corners of modern Britain, the traditions of our ancestors are never forgotten
