Writing a Eulogy for a Loved One 🤍

Finding the right words to honour someone you love can feel overwhelming, especially when you are grieving.

A few things to remember:

🪶Share memories — favourite stories, special moments and the little things that made them unique.

🪶 Talk about who they were — their personality, values, passions and the people they loved.

🪶 Speak from the heart — there is no need for perfect words. A genuine tribute is what matters most.

🪶You don't have to do it alone — your Celebrant or Minister will guide you through the process. By listening to your memories and stories, they can help bring everything together into a meaningful and personal tribute.

And if emotions take over, that's okay. A pause, a tear or a trembling voice simply reflects the love behind the words.

A eulogy doesn't need to tell their whole life story. It simply needs to tell their story with love. 🤍

Yesterday we had the honour to provide the funeral service for a much-loved and special lady. 🤍

Our thoughts remain with her family and loved ones at this difficult time.

Beautiful flowers were lovingly arranged by Julia's Flowers , adding a truly personal and elegant touch to the service. 🌸

Dogs have an incredible way of knowing when we need a cuddle, a friendly face or simply someone to sit quietly by our side. For many of us, they’re not just pets they’re family. 🐶🐾
