👻 Don't become a "ghost patient"!

Have you received a letter recently from NHS England or Primary Care Support England (PCSE) asking you to confirm your details? Please don't ignore it!

This is a routine process called list validation, and it helps make sure our records are accurate and up to date. A "ghost patient" is someone who's still on our practice list but has moved away, or is otherwise no longer an active patient here — and it happens more often than you'd think.

If you get a letter, here's what to do:
✅ Follow the instructions inside
✅ Confirm your details are correct
✅ Reply within 10 days, or get in touch with us directly

Why does this matter, even if you're not planning to see a GP any time soon?

Even if you're fit, well, and not expecting to need an appointment, staying registered and up to date means:
💙 You can get a GP appointment quickly whenever you do need one
💌 You won't miss important letters, like screening or vaccination invites
📋 The practice gets the right level of funding to care for all our patients properly

If you don't respond and PCSE can't confirm your details, you could be removed from our list without realising and you'd need to re-register before you could book an appointment again.

If you or someone you know hasn't been in touch with us in the last few years? Please give them a nudge to check in and update their details with the practice.
