Your people are one of your organisation’s greatest strengths. But people can only carry so much without support.
Frontline teams can carry secondary trauma, distress, pressure, safeguarding concerns, and difficult conversations day after day.
And the body keeps score. Without space to reflect and process the impact of their work, pressure can build over time, often leading to burnout and long term sick leave.
Research from BHT sussex into regular supervision found it helped protect workers from burnout and compassion fatigue, with some staff saying they may have otherwise needed longer sickness absence or left their role.
Reflective spaces are not about fixing. They are about creating safe spaces for people to pause, process, reflect on their work.
