Never in my life did I think I’d enjoy standing in front of a room full of women giving me side eye, dirty looks and laughing at me like I’ve offended them.

Usually a;
‘I can’t do that’
‘Are you serious’
‘My legs/core/arms/body is shaking’
‘Count properly’ 😂😂

And then they do it anyway.

They push through, surprise themselves and realise they’re stronger than they think!

I love the looks because I know it’s followed by a confidence boost

The girls always take the layer they feel comfortable with and focus on form rather than how many.
(I can’t get my elbow to the ceiling because of my injury)

One thing I didn’t expect when I started teaching Pilates was how much I’d genuinely look forward to seeing people each week!

I knew I’d love watching people grow in confidence, get stronger and more connected to their bodies but I didn’t realise especially as an introvert, that one of my other favourite parts of this journey would be the people and connections I’ve made. Knowing people feel safe and comfortable in my classes and having clients turn into friends wasn’t something I was experiencing.

One of the reasons I love so much, is the sauna sessions afterwards. Actually slowing down, relaxing and properly connecting after class.

Sitting in the sauna chatting after class has become one of my favourite parts of the week 🤍

Pilates has brought so much more into my life than movement and I’m so grateful for every second I get to do this 🫶

We’ll start with a feel-good Pilates class, followed by a relaxed, self-guided paint session inspired by the sea.

Think fresh air, soft movement, something sparkling in hand, a space to slow down and connect.
