Myth: hearing aids are only for old people.

In our clinics, the youngest patient this year was 22. The fastest growing group is people in their 40s and 50s.

Concerts, headphones, factory work, motorbikes, drumming, farming, life. None of it is gentle on hearing.

Modern hearing aids are tiny, discreet, and built for active people. The image in your head is probably 30 years out of date.

Cotton buds do not clean your ears. They push wax deeper, scratch the canal, and in some cases damage the eardrum.

Ears are self-cleaning. Wax migrates out on its own. When it does build up, the safe answer is microsuction, not a cotton bud and a bit of hope.
