SPACE founder and Senior Teacher has decided this Autumn’s 300hr Foundational YTTC will be the final one.

After running countless workshops, courses, 30hr Yoga Immersions, and training over 50 students to become qualified yoga teachers (half of whom have since taught at SPACE), it is time to provide ADVANCED TRAINING for all budding and even more experienced teachers.

SPACE’s first ADVANCED TRAINING will be 75hrs, covering, amongst other topics: ADVANCED POSTURES, PRANAYAMA; SEQUENCING, PHILOSOPHY, ADJUSTMENTS, THEMING, and will most likely begin in January.

The course will be affordable, at weekends, and available to All. There will be a small discount for SPACE Yoga School graduates. More details coming soon but please feel free to contact us via email or IG.

So, if you’re wondering whether you should join the next YTTC intake in September; now is the time to say YES to going deeper into your practice, yourself, and becoming a stronger, more patient, resilient and compassionate human being.

Taking place over 11 straight weekends at SPACE, Sept 19 - Nov 29, and led by an experienced, diverse, joyful and compassionate faculty, the SPACE YTTC is the perfect training for you if you’d like to teach yoga, or just develop and self-practice and learn so much more about yoga.

ROCKET YOGA WORKSHOP

Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and playful sequence with plenty of space for creativity. During this extended practice you will learn about the history of Rocket and how it developed as a style, understanding the ethos of the practice before being guided through the flow. Within this, there’ll be plenty of time to break down more challenging postures and transitions and give yourself as many attempts as your heart desires. The sequence is filled with opportunities to experiment with arm balances, inversions, backbends and funky transitions, with the freedom to take things as far as you feel inspired to, finishing with an indulgent and welcome savasana. This is perfect for people who enjoy a stronger flow and who like to be challenged in novel ways, or equally for someone who simply wants to try something a little different. Either way, you’ll leave feeling energised and ready for more! Open to all levels, be prepared to build up a sweat. Not suitable for total beginners.

In her own words:
Kate discovered yoga as a teenager, attending classes with her mum in the local village hall. Since then, her practice has been shaped by a rich variety of yoga teachers and traditions, alongside meditation, Feldenkrais and other movement practices. Her Yin yoga classes invite you to slow down, open and release, creating space to move through life with greater ease.
