Are you aware of the great charities helping men's mental health in Gloucestershire?

🧠 Men in Sheds - where men meet regularly in a workshop to bring a range of skills and ideas to many activities that can involve carpentry, community projects, repair and paint furniture and recycle things https://orlo.uk/men-in-sheds_8cQJQ

🧠 Man Up Glos - giving men who are struggling an opportunity to chat to likeminded individuals, in an effort to offer support as a coping tool https://orlo.uk/man-up-glos_eRIBi

🧠 Men walking and talking - join a walk, meet great people and enjoy open conversations https://orlo.uk/men-walking-and-talking_K3lHO

🧠 Home Start Gloucestershire's Dad Matters - helping men better understand their baby, their role as a dad and how the transition to fatherhood may affect them and their family https://orlo.uk/dad-matters_tmqtM

HAVE YOUR SAY! As a Practice we are always looking at ways we can improve our services and opinions of our patients. Once a quarter we contact our Patients who have signed up to the Patient Participation Group (PPG), via email to ask questions such as what do you think about our opening times and taking up no more than ten minutes of your time.

If you are interested in having a say in the way your local health services are delivered, getting involved with our Practices PPG is a great place to start. No training is required to be a member of a PPG, the most important thing is that you are keen and focused on taking positive action to help the Practice and our patients.

We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups. If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please fill out a join the participation group form:

Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. When you're going through a tough time, a simple meal or food parcel can make a big difference. Local organisations even offer additional support, such as provide toiletries, give advice on finances, housing or mental health, and lend an ear for a supportive chat over a cup of tea.

Please take a look at the *new* Gloucestershire Food Map here:
https://www.feedinggloucestershire.org.uk/food-map/

🍊Food Banks - provides free emergency food parcels to people in crisis who are unable to afford food
