✨ 1 whole year ago, the Sense & Discover journey began… ✨
I viewed this little shop THREE times. I knew it needed a lot of work, but every time I walked through the door, I could see what it could become. I had a vision, a dream and absolutely no idea just how special this journey would be. 🥹🤍
There were setbacks along the way, but I kept going.
My maternity leave was coming to an end, I handed in my notice, put the application in for the shop… and in February, I finally got the keys. 🔑
Then the hard work really began!
My family and friends were there with me day and night, helping me turn an empty shop into the place I had pictured in my head for so long. I will forever be grateful for everything they did to help make my dream a reality. 🤍
Then in April, the doors to Sense & Discover officially opened. 🌈
And what an amazing journey it has been already.
It has become more than I ever dreamed or imagined it could be. Sometimes I still feel like I’m living in a little bubble and have to remind myself that we actually did it. 🥹
I’ve met some absolutely amazing people and made some wonderful friends in just 5 months of being open.
