From working in my dining room… to standing alongside a team of 5 incredible women. 🥹❤️
Sometimes I look at what R V Aesthetics has become and genuinely can’t believe how far we’ve come.
But I think it’s important to say that none of this has just fallen into my lap.
There was no family money. No financial help. No big support network behind me.
No village.
Just a single mum of three, working 12 hour shifts as a midwife, renovating a house, raising three children and trying to build a business from absolutely nothing.
Working evenings, weekends, early mornings and every spare hour I could find around the kids. Building my patient base one appointment at a time, often feeling like there simply weren’t enough hours in the day.
There have been sacrifices, exhaustion, tears, moments of wondering how on earth I was going to manage it all… and a ridiculous amount of hard graft.
Nothing was handed to me. Everything you see today has been built from the ground up.
And whilst I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve achieved, what makes me even prouder now is the team of women standing beside me.
Because R V Aesthetics is no longer just me.
It’s these amazing girls who turn up every day, care about our patients, take pride in their work and help make the clinic what it is.
Watching them grow in confidence, develop their skills and genuinely care about the business I’ve poured my heart into means more than they’ll probably ever realise.
I started this business to create a better future for myself and my children. I never imagined I’d end up creating something that other women could be part of too.
And that, for me, is one of the biggest achievements of all.
We might look like we’ve got it all together in these photos (😂), but behind them are years of determination, sacrifices and a LOT of very long days.
I’m not sharing this for sympathy or a pat on the back. I’m sharing it because sometimes people only see the finished picture, not everything it took to get there.
Built with hard work, determination and a genuine love for what I do.
And to my girls… thank you for being part of something that once existed only as a little dream in my head - so proud of us xx
