Another fantastic morning at Time For You yesterday at West Bradford Village Hall! 💙💜

A huge thank you to Clitheroe Ukulele Orchestra who were absolutely brilliant and provided us with some wonderful entertainment! 🎶

We also enjoyed some Halloween crafting, quizzing, jigsaw puzzling and, of course, a good old catch-up over a brew and some delicious cake. 🎃☕🍰

For more than 8 years, our much-loved Time For You group has been providing a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental space, specially designed for people living with dementia and/or their carers.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet others who may be experiencing similar circumstances, share experiences, make connections and enjoy a few hours together in a cosy, homely environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who makes these mornings so special. We look forward to seeing you all again soon and always welcome new faces any time!

Enjoy refreshments, themed activities, tasty treats, music and plenty of conversation about anything and everything 😀

We welcome new faces and familiar friends alike. The group supports people living with dementia and/or their carers. And don’t worry – when the Ribble Valley weather turns, we move indoors ☔️

St Mary's RC Primary School in Sabden has become a new collection point for Ribble Valley Foodbank. The school will also have an emergency parcel always ready at hand if any parents or anyone from the local Sabden community is in need of support. Kate Meiklejohn (food bank manager) and Michael Hargreaves (warehouse volunteer) were delighted to meet the children and staff to say a big thank you for their help.

We were all about Halloween today at our Friends in Nature session, making macrame skeleton keyrings and decorating biscuits with spooky sugary toppings. We did a Halloween quiz as well. Join us each Monday from 10.30 till noon - for those living with dementia and/or their carers.

Ann came to Time For You this morning with a shawl she had made herself - she spun and knitted dog hair from her bearded collies! And no, it doesn't smell of dog and is super soft!
