Due to a burst water pipe the surgery has no water this morning, appointments will go ahead as planned, however the toilets will be out of order until water is restored.

Part time Receptionist/Admin Assistant

16 hours per week over 4 days

We are looking for a conscientious, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our Reception and Administration team. Your role will be to provide administrative support to the primary care medical team and front of house service to our registered patients. Previous experience of working in a GP surgery an advantage but not essential. Good IT skills and customer service essential.

We are pleased to offer a new monthly support group for new mums at Mendip Country Practice. This group provides a friendly and supportive space for anyone who would like to find out more about breastfeeding.

The group offers:
• Information and guidance about breastfeeding
• Opportunities to share experiences with other mums
• Night-time parenting
• Starting solids

The next meeting will be Friday 15th May 2026, 10.00am – 11.30am.

Whether you are pregnant, newly breastfeeding, or just looking for support and reassurance, you are very welcome to join us.
