🎉 New Qi Gong Short Now Available! 🎉

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Embrace The Tree Twist.

This gentle Qi Gong exercise combines mindful breathing, controlled rotation, relaxed movement, and body awareness to help release tension through the upper back and between the shoulder blades while encouraging the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body.

In Qi Gong, allowing movement to develop gradually rather than forcing the body can help create a deeper sense of relaxation and ease. As you gently turn from side to side while keeping the hands together in front of the body, this practice encourages the muscles around the shoulder blades and upper back to soften and release. By maintaining relaxed shoulders and allowing the rotation to happen naturally, Embrace the Tree Twist can help improve mobility through the upper back, shoulders, and torso while leaving you feeling more open, relaxed, and at ease.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.

🌿 Do you ever feel like you need to open up your shoulders and upper back after a long day?

The upper back and shoulders can become tight from sitting, working at a desk or spending time looking down at screens. Gentle twisting and stretching can help create more space through the spine while encouraging the shoulders to relax.

Spinal Opening and Shoulder Stretch is a gentle Qi Gong exercise where one hand moves behind the back while you turn to the side and press the opposite hand outward. This creates a gentle twist through the spine and a stretch across the shoulders and upper back.

Regular practice can help:
✨ Release tension between the shoulder blades
✨ Improve spinal mobility
✨ Stretch and open the shoulders
✨ Encourage better posture
✨ Promote a relaxed, open upper body

One of the beautiful qualities of this exercise is the way the twist combines with the shoulder opening. Rather than forcing the stretch, allow the movement to develop naturally. Keep the shoulders relaxed, breathe comfortably and only move as far as feels good for your body.

If you'd like to learn Spinal Opening and Shoulder Stretch, I've created a short guided video that you can follow along with whenever you'd like to release upper-body tension, improve mobility and create a greater feeling of openness.

💬 Do you notice tension building between your shoulder blades? What kind of movement helps you release it?

🎉 New Qi Gong Short Now Available! 🎉

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Twisting The Upper Back.

This gentle Qi Gong exercise combines mindful breathing, controlled rotation, and progressive relaxation to help release tension through the upper back and between the shoulder blades while encouraging the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body.

In Qi Gong, gentle rotation combined with conscious relaxation can help the body release tightness without forcing the movement. As you slowly guide the hands from side to side in prayer position while keeping the head facing forwards, the movement encourages the upper back and shoulders to gently mobilise. By relaxing around the shoulder blades and allowing the upper back to soften, this practice can help loosen areas of built-up tension and leave the shoulders, upper back, and torso feeling more open, relaxed, and mobile.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.

🌿 Do you carry tension in your neck and shoulders without even realising it?

The neck and shoulders can easily become areas where we hold tension, especially after long periods at a desk, driving or looking at screens. Gentle Qi Gong movement can offer a simple way to release that tension while bringing more awareness and ease to the upper body.

Dragon Stretches Its Tail is a gentle Qi Gong movement that creates a lengthening stretch through the neck and shoulders using coordinated, flowing motion. The movement encourages the upper body to soften and open while supporting greater freedom of movement.

Regular practice can help:
✨ Release tension in the neck and shoulders
✨ Improve upper-body mobility
✨ Encourage better posture
✨ Develop greater body awareness
✨ Promote a relaxed, open feeling

One of the beautiful qualities of this exercise is the combination of stretching and flowing movement. Rather than forcing the neck or shoulders into a stretch, allow the movement to create a gentle sense of length and openness. Keep the shoulders relaxed, breathe naturally and let the movement remain comfortable.

If you'd like to learn Dragon Stretches Its Tail, I've created a short guided video that you can follow along with whenever you'd like to release upper-body tension, improve mobility and bring a little more ease into your day.

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Back Of The Shoulder Stretch.

This gentle Qi Gong exercise combines mindful breathing, flowing rotation, and progressive relaxation to help release tension around the shoulder blades and upper back while encouraging the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body.

In Qi Gong, gentle movement combined with conscious relaxation can help the body release tension without forcing the muscles or joints. As you slowly turn the arms from side to side while keeping the head facing forwards, this practice gently mobilises the upper body and focuses attention on the muscles around the shoulders and shoulder blades. Coordinating the movement with the breath encourages these areas to soften and relax, leaving the shoulders and upper back feeling more open, comfortable, and mobile.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.

🤍 Private Qi Gong Sessions – Learn at Your Own Pace 🤍

Group classes aren't the right fit for everyone—and that's absolutely okay.

If you'd prefer a quieter, more personalised experience, I offer private 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 Qi Gong sessions, giving you the time and space to learn in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.

Whether you're completely new to Qi Gong, managing stress, recovering from injury, looking to improve your mobility, or simply wanting to invest in your wellbeing, private sessions allow us to focus on your individual needs and goals.

Qi Gong is a gentle practice that combines mindful movement, breathing, and relaxation to help:
🌿 Reduce stress and anxiety
🌿 Improve balance, flexibility, and mobility
🌿 Increase energy and vitality
🌿 Release physical tension
🌿 Develop greater body awareness and a calmer, clearer mind

My approach to teaching is centred around curiosity rather than perfection. Instead of worrying about getting every movement "right", we'll explore how each exercise feels in your own body. I encourage a sense of play and experimentation, allowing you to discover what works best for you without pressure or judgement.

When we approach learning with curiosity, movement becomes more enjoyable, confidence grows naturally, and Qi Gong becomes something you can truly make your own.

💚 Private 1-hour session: £30
💚 Two people (1 hour): £40 (£20 each)

If you've been thinking about trying Qi Gong but feel nervous about joining a group, or you'd simply like a more tailored experience, a private session could be the perfect place to begin.

🌿 Does your spine ever feel stiff or restricted after a long day?

So much of modern life keeps us moving forwards—sitting at desks, driving or looking at screens. Gentle twisting can offer a different kind of movement, helping us reconnect with the spine and release some of the tension that can build up over time.

Spinal Twist is a slow, controlled Qi Gong movement where you gently turn to the side, allowing each part of the spine to rotate a little further—like gently wringing out a towel. The movement is mindful and deliberate, encouraging the body to soften rather than forcing the twist.

Regular practice can help:
✨ Improve spinal mobility
✨ Release tension through the back
✨ Develop greater body awareness
✨ Encourage relaxed, controlled movement
✨ Promote a calm, peaceful state

One of the beautiful qualities of this exercise is that it asks you to slow down and feel the movement through your whole spine. Rather than trying to twist as far as possible, allow each section of the spine to follow naturally. Keep your shoulders relaxed, breathe comfortably and explore the movement without force.

If you'd like to learn Spinal Twist, I've created a short guided video that you can follow along with whenever you'd like to improve mobility, release tension and reconnect with your body through mindful movement.

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Cleansing The Lungs.

This gentle Qi Gong exercise combines mindful breathing, flowing movement, and upper-body relaxation to help encourage deeper, more comfortable breathing while releasing tension through the chest, shoulders, and upper back.

In Qi Gong, combining breath with gentle movement can help create a greater sense of openness through the chest while allowing the upper body to relax. As you inhale and raise the arms overhead, the movement gently opens the chest. As you exhale and bring the hands down while rounding the upper back, imagine squeezing old air and stagnant energy out of the lungs. This simple visualisation, combined with relaxed breathing, can help you let go of tension and create a greater sense of space, openness, and ease through the chest.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.
