As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes. We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate individuals who are passionate about supporting others in the community.
No previous care experience is required β we recruit based on values and personality, and full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Personal care and support
Meal preparation
Domestic duties
Shopping and companionship visits
Supporting clients within the community
Promoting independence and wellbeing
Areas Covered:
Barry
Dinas Powys
Sully
This is a community-based role, therefore applicants must:
Hold a full UK driving licence
Have access to their own vehicle
Be able to travel between client visits
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly rate starting from Β£12.71 per hour
Paid travel time, increasing your overall earnings
Enhanced weekend rate of Β£14.30 per hour
Paid mileage at 45p per mile
Paid DBS check
Paid Social Care Wales registration
Fully funded QCF Level 2 qualification
Paid shadow shifts

Supportive management team with 24-hour support
Flexible full-time and part-time hours available
Shift Patterns:
Morning shifts: 8:00am β 2:00pm
Evening shifts: 4:00pm β 10:30pm
Alternate weekends required

We are currently particularly looking for carers available for evening and weekend shifts, as demand for care during these times continues to grow.
At Churchfields Home Care, the more dedicated staff we welcome into our team, the more people in the community we are able to support β creating further opportunities for growth, development, and additional hours for our care staff.

Previous home care experience
NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care
Manual Handling Passport
